Yes it’s that time of year again, WWDC week. And while we get our Apple cables and chargers ready, this Apple fan has his pens and paper ready to sketchnote WWDC week in real time.
Meet Andy McNally, the talented illustrator, visual story teller and sketchnoter who sketchnotes Apple events, announcements, keynotes and WWDC conferences. We met Andy on Twitter, where he has been preparing for an intense week of real time sketching at this year’s WWDC17.

This year, Andy has been practicing before the Apple event, getting ready for sketching WWDC in real time with Cult Of Mac. As well as pen and paper, Andy often creates digital versions of his sketchnotes using his iPad Pro to create vector art.

So what are Sketchnotes? Sketchnotes are a creative form of note taking. Notes are often linked with shapes, drawings and text, and form a creative story of an event, conference or more. Sketchnotes are a popular way of visual story telling and make taking notes much more interesting.
